Grandstream ATA – HT801

The Grandstream ATA is a single port ATA.

The front of the ATA has 3 flashing lights. Here is a brief summary of what the lights on the adapter will show you:

The “Power” Light

  • If this light is flashing, this means the adapter is booting up
  • If the light is on consistently, this means that the device is fully powered on
  • If the light is off, then this means the device currently has no power

The “Connection/Internet” Light

  • If this light is consistently on, this means that the ATA is connected to your network
  • If this light is off, there is no connection available to send/receive data
  • If this light is flashing, then the device is currently being used to send/receive data

The “Phone” Light

  • If the Phone light is flashing quickly, this means that the phone connected is off the hook and/or being used
  • If the phone light is off, this means that the phone plugged into the back is not communicating with the ATA correctly.
  • If the light is on, this means that the phone connected has service and is ready to use.

Supported Features

The product offering here has been aligned directly with the Cisco ATA, this means that we will support Inbound/Outbound calling and all of the FACs as stated on the knowledgebase.

  • The Call hold feature is available but is not guaranteed, as there are various external factors we cannot control such as the analogue device on the back of the device.
  • The call transfer feature is not supported on the Grandstream ATA.
